Partial Spanish Immersion Program

  • Beginning in first grade, students have the opportunity to enroll in our tuition-free partial Spanish Immersion Program.
  • Literacy skills are taught in English, other subject areas are taught in Spanish.
  • Students may continue to participate in the partial Spanish Immersion program through sixth grade if they choose.

Wide Variety of Extracurricular and Student Enrichment Activities:

  • Future Problem Solving: creative problem solving competition for 4th through 6th graders
  • Green Team: an environmental student recycling group
  • Student News: live in-house television news broadcast five days a week
  • Photo Club: sharing experiences and communicating through photography
  • Extended Day: offering additional support for students in reading and math
  • Community Education classes: after-school programs including Track & Field, Mad Science, and Watch Me Draw

Integration of 21st Century Technology:

  • A SMART Board interactive white board, a scanner, and a document camera in every classroom to facilitate integration of current educational technology resources into classroom instruction
  • Three mobile computer carts containing class sets of laptops
  • Mini-lab of iPods
  • One full-size computer lab and two mini-labs of desktop computers
  • Video Production Room where students edit and produce digital video presentations for broadcast on the morning student news program or to post to the school website
